Steven M. Hacker, MD is is the author of the top selling business book for physicians entitled “The Medical Entrepreneur Pearls, Pitfalls, and Practical Business Advice for Doctors” and is the creator of the Medical Entrepreneur App (Available for free in the Apple Store). During his 35-year career in medicine, Dr. Goldman has taken a leadership role in all the major movements in health care, including HMOs, practice management, and preventive health care. Prior to co-founding MDVIP, Dr. Goldman was Chief Executive Officer of Cybear, Inc., a NASDAQ Internet medical information company. He also served as founding partner and Chief Medical Officer for PhyMatrix, a NYSE practice management company, and from 1994 to 1996, was President of PhyChoice, a PhyMatrix subsidiary. Before joining PhyMatrix, Dr. Goldman was the founder and Chairman of Pal-Med Health Services, a 225-physician multimodality, multispecialty independent practice association. Dr. Goldman practiced for 20 years as a board certified family practice physician in solo and group practice. He served in the United States Public Health Service and was a research fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a laureate of the Smithsonian Institution for his contribution to healthcare informatics and was named the 2008 “entrepreneur of the year” for the State of Florida. He is a graduate of the University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine. Dr. Goldman is currently co-founder and Chairman of the Board of MDLive, a pioneering and market leading telemedicine company.

Arlen D Meyers, MD, MBA is a professor of otolaryngology, dentistry, and engineering at the University of Colorado Denver with adjunct appointments elsewhere. He is the cofounder, President and Chief Medical Officer Medvoy.com, a globally integrated, doctor to doctor lead generation an referral platform. In addition, he has created several other medical device companies. His primary research centers around commercialization of devices that optically detect surface and near surface cancers.

He is a consultant to companies, governments, colleges and universities around the world in the areas of bio entrepreneurship, bioscience, healthcare, healthcare IT, medical tourism -- nationally and internationally, new product development, product design, and financing new ventures.

Dr. Meyers is involved with several global bioentrepreneurship education, research and practice initiatives and serves as the founding CEO and President of the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs and Director of the Certificate Program in Bioinnovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado. Andrew Barbash, MD is a neurologist in active practice as the medical director of the Stroke Program and Neurosciences at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland. He went to medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago, and did his neurology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.
